Carbon economics days

Driven by the coordinators of Axis 4, Economic and Social Sciences, FairCarboN has organised two Carbon Economics Days (JEC). The first JEC, held in 2024, focused on carbon economics to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural and food systems. The second JEC, in 2025, explored the link between consumer food behaviours and GHG emissions.

Each event, aimed at Master’s students, scientists and stakeholders, brought together around one hundred participants. The third JEC, scheduled for 2027, will adopt a different format: an international workshop dedicated to specialist researchers.
